You had your 4 month well check this morning. 26" long 16 5/8" head 15.3lbs!
You also got your first x-ray. Doc was a little concerned about your head shape. He wanted to have an x-ray done to make sure the bones haven't fused too soon. You did excellent during the procedure (as did your brother, who waited in the hallway with one of the techs) just kind of looked around taking everything in. The results were ready within 15 mins but Doc had us go home and would call in a couple hours. Quite nerve wracking.. I actually called! Everything looks normal and is developing as it should! Whew.
Yesterday (9/12) we woke up and I fed you your morning milk, for the first time you reached up and touched my face. It was a very sweet moment, your jerky movements and your tiny fingers moved along my cheek. Sometimes it's still surreal that you are even here. That I am the Mother of two children. Truly, a miracle.
