Baby O,
You're not really much of a baby anymore. This past month your vocabulary has grown, to the point that I can't really keep track of all your words. You've taken to calling everyone older than you "Mom". And you've started to call me Lacye. ha. You call Emma (mem-ma), Cecelia (ce-silly / cece) and Kyle (mile) by their respective names. Pretty much any word I say you try to say it too. Your favorite word is "No." And you say it with such authority and snottiness. I've noticed you're starting to say little sentences "Mom! All done." "Ooo.. What's that?" when you see something you like.
You've also started to let me know when you've done something in your diaper. "Mom, poof poof." As you point to your bum. Sometimes it's only pee though, but you're getting the idea.
The other day I handed you a pair of your shorts "Here, put these on." I fed the cats or something, then went to find you. Still short-less, but where did they go? I looked in the laundry baskets, in our rooms, no where. "hmm." I opened your dresser drawer where I keep all your pants and shorts, sure enough you folded them and put them away right were they belonged. Smart boy! There seems to be more and more situations like this, I ask you to pick up your toys. You do. Throw something in the trash for Mama. You do. You amaze me.
This past weekend we finally had some summer like weather, we went to a BBQ on Saturday. Sunday we played in the pool.. you LOVE to be outside. That's also another one of your favorite words, it usually comes out as "a-side". Here's a few photos I snapped. I haven't taken your official 20 month photos yet. I'm saving that for when we go see the Pacific Ocean!
Food! We don't really have a problem there. You love just about everything. You're not too keen on veggies, I think it's the texture cos you have no problem eating Auntie Em's pureed kind. I'm not sure why, but ever since I took you off the bottle you started calling your sippy cup "BABA" though I've never referred to you milk as that either. Goofy.
