life as of late.

I went to the doc yesterday.  My doctor saw me in triage friday night didn't even remember I was there or that I'm supposed to be on bedrest.. nothing.  I was pissed to say the least.  I'm kind of hoping cupcake comes shortly after 37 weeks so I don't have to deal with anymore ob visits.

O came down with a cold over the weekend.  His temp hit 102.4, I took him in he's got pneumonia.  For the first time ever he's actually just been laying on the couch with me all day cuddling. They gave him a shot of antibiotics, I have to do breathing treatments 2-3 times a day plus oral antibiotics for 10 days.  I take him back thursday for a recheck.

We also got news that mom's kidneys aren't doing well.  They may be going into failure.  More testing next week.

I've definitely had enough of bad news for awhile.

2nd trip to the er...

this pregnancy.  I had felt contractions since about noon.  Went to work anyway thinking they would go away.. nope.  Headed over to the hospital the monitored me for about an hour, everything seemed to stop.  I was dehydrated and just needed to lay down I suppose.  Checked any changes to my cervix, none.  Then sent me on my way with a new water pitcher that I'm supposed to fill with water and drink FOUR times a day.  That's a ton of water! 

Now I'm home and in need of a nap until little boy gets home from daycare.

Snow!

I was finally able to get O out into the snow for the 1st time.  Hopefully that'll be the last time it snows this winter.  I'm really not much of fan anymore, now that I have to drive to work and all.

Paid all of my current bills and an additional month on a couple.
Paid everything I had in collection.
Working on paying off credit debt.
FEELS SO GOOD!

In other news, I failed the 1hour glucose test.  On to the 3 hour... hooray for 4 blood draws!

My son also started packing a blanket around daycare.  We've named it "Thomas"... oi!

O has been sick.

which means neither one of us has slept.
work is going well.  I'm just praying they'll hold my position while I'm on maternity leave.
Found out we have to move by April 1st.  I'm really hoping to find our own apartment by then.  If not we may have to stay with my mom for a month or two.
Filed my taxes.  It kind of makes me love my kid even more.. I feel like it's my own pay check for the past year of motherhood.  ha.. It'll definitely help me get back on track and get about halfway out of debt.  Now with working again (and making a bit more) I hope to keep afloat.
I am so anxious for the next few months.

This Mama...

just scored herself a job!!  I am excited for everything this means for us.  The biggest and most needed is a place to call our own.  Hopefully this will happen before May.  I won't stress too much, if it happens in June that's okay too.. I would just really like to be settled BEFORE the new addition. 
I was rehired with a company I worked for over the summer but at a different facitlity.  The kicker!!  I'll be making $2.75 more an hour.  That actually gives me a chance to get into my own apartment without a roommate, my ideal situation.
I'm a bit sad that O will have to return to daycare.  He'll be going to the same place as when he was an infant, his uncle and aunt attend there as well.  Not too mention the providers wife was my nurse when I delivered O.  Small world!  On the plus side, he LOVES other kids and I'm looking forward to him socializing.  Hopefully getting over his terrible case of separation anxiety.  His baby sister will be going with him in just a few months.
Big changes will be happening around here.

We went to the Park today.

O enjoyed a bit of swing time, followed by circling the playground with a near two year old little boy.  I love how social he is when it comes to other children.

I received a phone call for an interview tomorrow morning!  I'm crossing my fingers and toes.. I need this badly!

Every other weekend.

My son goes on a visit with his father. This is the 2nd time.  I actually took everyone's advice and SLEPT!  12 hours straight, woke up ate some cereal and slept for another 3 hours. It feels amazing!
I got a ton accomplished yesterday.  Dyed my hair - BLACK!  Painted my toes - RED!  Laundry and bedding all washed, the dog even got a bath! I also put in a few applications.  Trying to find a job is proving to be a bit tricky.
I've got 3 hours until pick up time.. I think I'll start a book!
